Talon's Tree was founded by Dee and Russ Smith who experienced the tragedy of losing their grandchild, Talon, to choking. Since then, Dee and Russ Smith have put up a tree in their driveway every December in memory of Talon and give away hundreds of free ornaments and information regarding choking.
After realizing the lack of resources and education on choking prevention, they decided to take action and create an organization dedicated to raising awareness and saving lives. Today, Talon's Tree continues to stand in Goode, Virginia and you can help to make a difference and promote awareness with them.
